Story
Freeform’s journey began in 2023 as a humble art supplies shop providing quality art supplies and inspiring creativity through hands-on workshops.
Our workshops, scheduled regularly to encourage artistic growth, became a natural extension of that vision. As we continued to connect with our community through creative events and art competitions, we realized there was a greater need for a platform for local artists. This realization led us to create The Palette Lab—a dedicated sanctuary for local artists to give them space to hone their craft, and build meaningful connections with other like-minded creatives.
Our goal is to offer more than just art supplies or workshops; we want to build a space where artists could thrive and share their unique creative voice with others in a supportive atmosphere.
The Palette Lab is where artists explore, create, and connect—and we’re proud to be part of a community that embraces the power of art to bring people together, spark inspiration, and create lasting impact.

Co-Founder/ Brand Director
Nicolette Edwards
Nicolette is a Microbiology Laboratory Analyst and artist based in New Zealand, with a talent for graphite sketching, colored pencil art, acrylic and oil painting. In her free time, she teaches painting to children and participates in art classes in Christchurch.
Co-Founder/ General Manager
Martha Gualdrapa
Martha is a Registered and Licensed Architect in the Philippines, and an artist-entrepreneur with a forte in acrylic painting and watercolor rendering. She is the Co-Owner of Lucid Jeans, an online art business that sells hand-painted denim apparel.

Khy is a self-taught professional artist whose works are mostly related to social realism.
She was hailed as LNU's artist of the year in 2023, and was the editorial cartooning champion of the 2024 Regional Tertiary School's Press Conference in VSU, Baybay.

Clint is a self-taught professional artist specializing in surrealism. He has participated in various art contests and exhibitions.
He leads Waraynon Social Arts Club and serves as the lead coordinator of the Tacloban Culture and Arts Council.
